BrizWest Community Music Ensembles is based in Toowong, an inner suburb of Brisbane, Queensland.

BrizWest has two bands:

 

The Community Concert Band:

plays a wide range of concert music, from arrangements of movie themes and musicals, to marches, a few jazz standards and more serious works. You learn a lot about music when you play in a concert band.

 

Kate Street Mob, a jazz big band:

gets you up and dancing with a selection of swing, Latin, jazz standards, ballads, rock and lots more. KSM regularly learns new pieces to add to the repertoire.
