BrizWest Community Music Ensembles Inc. is based in Toowong, an inner suburb of Brisbane, Queensland.

BrizWest has two bands, which both rehearse at the Toowong State School:

 

The Concert Band:

plays a wide range of concert music, from arrangements of movie themes and musicals, to marches, a few jazz standards and more serious works. You can enjoy a lot of music when you play in a concert band.

 

The Kate Street Mob (KSM), a jazz big band:

gets you up and dancing with a selection of swing, Latin, jazz standards, ballads, rock and lots more. KSM has a wide repertoire and has several gigs a year.
